The three branches answer different questions and we keep them apart on purpose. A tour page sells a trip. A destination page tells you what a place is like. A planning page answers the question you have before you are ready to buy anything.
The thing nobody else will tell you this year
Every official land crossing between Thailand and Cambodia — Poipet–Aranyaprathet, Cham Yeam–Hat Lek, O'Smach–Chong Jom, Ban Pakard–Pailin — has been shut since late June 2025 and was still shut in late August 2026. Bangkok to Siem Reap overland is not a trip you can buy from anyone right now, whatever a website says.
That single fact rearranges most classic Indochina itineraries, because the old backbone route ran Bangkok → Siem Reap → Phnom Penh → Ho Chi Minh City by road. Operators who have not rewritten their itineraries are either selling you a route they cannot run, or planning to put you on a flight at the last minute and call it an upgrade.
We rewrote ours. Thailand now joins the trip through Laos, where the Friendship Bridge crossings and the Nong Khai train are open and ordinary, or it sits at the end of the trip reached by a one-hour flight that we price in from the beginning. How we work, in mechanisms rather than adjectives
Eight travellers, hard ceiling
Not “small group”. Eight. It is the number that fits one minibus with luggage in Laos and one boat on the Mekong without a second vehicle following.
Four national guide teams
A Vietnamese guide in Vietnam, a Lao guide in Laos, a Khmer guide in Cambodia, a Thai guide in Thailand. Nobody guides a country they were briefed on last week.
Zero commission stops
No gem showrooms, no silk factories, no lacquer workshops, no pearl farms, no coffee plantations that are really a shop. Guides are paid a day rate so they do not need them.
Forty-five days to cancel cleanly
Long multi-country trips commit supplier money early. Our cancellation ladder starts at 45 days, not 30, because that is when we actually spend it.
These are cost decisions, not values statements. A guide on a day rate costs us 30 to 40 per cent more than a guide who earns from shopping stops, and four national guide teams cost more than one guide who travels the whole route. What a trip costs
Land-only, per person per day, excluding international flights and visas. Group size moves this number more than anything else, because the vehicle and the guide cost the same whether two people or eight are in them.

Multi-country trips run 10 to 15 per cent above a single-country trip of the same length, and it is not margin. It is border-day vehicles that carry an empty return leg, two guides overlapping on the crossing day, visa fees, and the flights that a closed border now forces into the itinerary. How the planning goes
- You send dates, party size and the countries you care about. Nothing else is needed to start.
- We reply within one working day with a routing sketch and an honest word about whether your day count fits the countries you listed. This is where most people find out that four countries in fourteen days is a bus tour.
- We build a day-by-day itinerary with named hotels — not star ratings — and a price broken into its parts.
- You change it. Two rounds of revision are normal and neither is charged.
- Deposit of 25 per cent confirms it. The balance is due 21 days before the first service.
We do not send a quote and then chase you. If a route does not suit you, say so and we will stop.
Who we are wrong for
This matters more than the list above, and it is short.
- People who want the cheapest quote. Ours will not be it, and the gap is mostly guide pay and vehicle quality.
- Groups over twelve. We can staff twelve as two vehicles but it stops being the trip we describe, and above twelve we decline.
- Anyone who needs Bangkok and Siem Reap connected by road in 2026. It cannot be done and we will not pretend.
- Travellers wanting a guided language other than English. Our guides in all four countries work in English only.
- Anyone who wants a fixed departure date with strangers. Everything we sell is private — see private or small group.

Questions travellers ask most
Can you still do Bangkok to Siem Reap overland?
No. Every Thailand–Cambodia land crossing has been closed since late June 2025 and was still closed at the end of August 2026. Any operator selling that leg overland is selling something they cannot deliver.
We fly it. Bangkok to Siem Reap is about an hour and we price the ticket into the trip rather than presenting it as an extra.
Is four countries in two weeks realistic?
Only if you fly every leg and accept two nights per country. We will quote it, but we will also tell you in writing that we think three countries in fourteen days is a better trip.

Do you run fixed departures I can join?
No. Every trip is private and runs on your dates. The eight-traveller ceiling is the maximum size of your own party, not a number of strangers we fill a bus with.
Which countries need a visa arranged before I fly?
It depends on your passport and, more awkwardly, on which border you use. A Laos eVisa is not valid at any land crossing from Vietnam except Dansavanh–Lao Bao, and that one is visa on arrival rather than eVisa.
